Role title: SPEC Fixed Quality Transmission and Core

Location: Kinshasa

Role Purpose

Fixed Quality Transmission and core Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of transmission systems and core network operations. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing transmission infrastructure to support seamless communication and data transfer.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

· Oversee the operation and maintenance of transmission systems, ensuring high-quality performance and minimal downtime.

· Analyse network performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for transmission-related issues, working closely with field personnel and other departments...

· Maintain accurate records of transmission system performance, maintenance activities, and quality assurance measures.

· Outlines the process for identifying the root causes of complaints to implement corrective actions and prevent future occurrences

Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:

1. Deep understanding of GSM/3G/LTE Network Principles and Operation (essential)

2. General understanding MW and FO transmission networks and technologies

3. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

4. Understanding of Huawei/ ZTE transmission equipment is desirable

5. Computer literacy (MS Office and Power Point presentations is essential)

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

· Diploma in electronic/Telecom/ Communication

· Minimum experience of 2 years in executing similar function
