À propos du poste

Role purpose:  The incumbent will be Responsible for market management across his regions or sector and Supervise Regional Sales teams and activities. He will lead allocated market in terms of acquisition of new customers, agents, availability of E-Money/Cash, POS visibility, products penetration, and quality of services. Will lead all sales & distribution channels in the market to execute commercial activities and initiatives to achieve all allocated KPI’s.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Drive customer acquisition in the allocated market.
  • Build strong distribution infrastructure including Trade partners and sales teams.
  • Create trade routes and allocated respective channels to service the route.
  • Ensures that the product brand is visible in His/her Region
  • Set and manage Trade Developers call routines and review for rest of team
  • Cascade performances targets for Trade Developers and Trade partners in your market
  • Optimize number of agents, super agents and TDR’s in the allocated market.
  • Plan Mystery shopping, brand audit, agent audits
  • Ensure that all outlets have float/cash availability within the set standards
  • Ensure that agent issues are addressed within SLA
  • Ensure that customer issues in outlets are addressed
  • All sales Trade Developers have reports and tools to carry out their roles
  • Ensure that all planned activities are executed by the sales Developers
  • Address agent disputes/aggregator issues
  • Supervisor will be accountable for Trade Malpractices

 Ensure the management of Trade Developers/Partners.

  • Manage distribution partners/Banks
  • Consistently interacting with external partners and other department within and outside the organisation.

 Control and manage liquidity level on daily basis

  • Ensure the implementation of all promotion in his area
  • Ensure visibility deployment and evaluation
  • Ensure creation and deployment of agents and walkers
  • Ensure regular reports are shared with the management team

Key performance indicators :

  • Revenue generated in your market
  • Number of new Customers (Net Addition)
  • Float level exchange between Agent & super agents
  • M-Pesa penetration in GSM base
  • M-Pesa Product penetration
  • Market share in terms of customers and revenue
  • Share of Visibility and customers NPS in his region

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

 

·       Excellent Oral and written communication

·       Excellent in Planning and organization

·       Customer and action oriented

·       Bilingual- English (Level 4) and French (Fluent)

·       Ability to work under pressure and stress

·       Multi task and ability to handle complexity

·       Good computer user knowledge skills (Excel, PPT and Word)

·       Sound interpersonal skills

·       Attention to details

·       Good numeracy/analysis skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a commercial/sales skill.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong communication skills and capability to manage conflict
  • Sales techniques
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics or related degree from a 4-year college or university is a requirement for a career in Sales and distribution
  • Sales experience is key
  • Business Development Approach is required
  • Vodacash processes knowledge would be an advantage
