Role Purpose |
|
|
A Vodashop Supervisor is responsible of the smooth running of his store. He ensures that company strategies are properly executed for achieving sales targets while making sure that our store standards are complied with on a continual basis. He should permanently train and coach his staff and spill the Customer Experience Culture principles.
• Conduct store’s retail and wholesale sales activities according to Company’s strategies and objectives • Maintain and develop the quality of service delivery • Control stock and cash and ensure the Vodacom Shop daily account reconciliation |

Conduct store’s retail and wholesale sales activities according to Company’s strategies and objectives |
Contribute to overall Company strategies and objectives by achieving related sales and financial results as assigned. |
|
Study and comprehend the operating market and adjust sales and marketing strategy changes along with regional field force and commercial teams |
|
|
Achieve proper products and services distribution through retail and wholesale flow channel. |
|
|
Continuously analyze local distribution channels to identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport / relationship with potential and actual retail customers and trade partners (especially vendors and dealers). |
|
|
Maintain and develop the quality of service delivery |
Continuously keep all defined store management KPI’s: store appearance and hygiene (look-and-feel, neatness, order), merchandising principles (current and available POS materials, proper products display, staff uniform), customer interaction and relationship (end-to-end customer approach). |

Ensure that Vodashop team delivers customer service as per policies, procedures and processes. |
|
|
Ensure that all customers are attended to on time and that every single customer event in the store is straightaway captured for purpose of record of sales, complaint troubleshooting and resolution. |
|
|
Protect employees and customers by providing a safe, clean and well-maintained store environment |
|
|
Timely record, escalation, follow up and ensure resolution of all store resources and H&S issues. |
|
|
Manage, coach and motivate people to ensure that individual and collective targets are met |
Maintains professional and technical knowledge for self and staff by ensure strict attendance to trainings and refresher trainings on all products, services and systems. |
|
Manage and control staff attendances for salary calculation and disciplinary issues management. |
|
|
Monitor, measure and report on the performance of the staff. |
|
|
Maintain operations by enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures, in particular by ensuring that in-store deals and promotions and after-sale captures are executed without failure. |
|
|
Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. |
|
|
Ensure that operating systems and tools are functional, and effectively used by each staff for sale and after-sale services purpose. |
|
|
Ensure staffing according to predicted operational needs, as well as adherence to work schedules. |
|
Control stock and cash and ensure the Vodashop account daily reconciliation |
Ensure availability of products by maintaining inventories; adhere strictly to the weekly and monthly inventory review plans. |
|
Ensure strict and real-time capture of all stock in and out movements in total compliance with approved pricing. |
|
|
Produce, compile, update and analyze on a daily basis operating and financial statements and statistics for revenue and profitability ratios. |
|
|
Ensure always on time submission of accurate reporting. |
|
|
Analyze and justify properly all discrepancies and variances. |
Profil recherché
Education/Qualifications & Experience
Ø Diploma / Degree preferable
Ø 2 years relevant working experience
Ø 6-month retail management experience in large retail channel
or 12-month retail management experience in small/medium retail channel (would be a plus)
Ø Experience in administrative position
Knowledge & Skills
Ø Computer Literacy essential -sound knowledge of Microsoft Office’s Word, Excel.
Ø Strong accounting, fair financial skills.
