1. CONTEXT

SODEICO Sarl, a company specializing in the recruitment and placement of qualified personnel, is recruiting for one of its partners operating in the industrial equipment and heavy goods vehicle sales sector throughout the national territory, a "Supply chain manager ". his/her main mission will be to lead the store team, the PDR supply team and the Logistics team in order to achieve the objectives set by the company.The candidate for this position must be a self-motivated, flexible and ambitious person, capable of achieving the predefined objectives related to their position.

The job holder will be under the supervision of the After-Sales Manager.

3. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for:

Administration & Management 

  • Preparation of the budget for his department;
  • Define annually the objectives of one's N-1 and challenge the definition of objectives of one's teams reporting to one's N-1;
  • Define the KPIs to be implemented with the agreement of your N+1 in order to manage your teams in a SMART way;
  • Develop a dashboard/report of his/her activities which he/she will share weekly/monthly with the After-Sales Service Director (N+1);
  • Follow up on recruitment requests and actively participate in candidate interviews;
  • Define the training needs of your team, ensure that approved training plans are followed and maintain a monitoring dashboard;
  • Managing your team in terms of discipline and absence management (paid leave, absences) justified and unjustified, etc…);
  • To ensure compliance with procedures related to the activities of his department in the management of VMI stores and stocks, internal and subcontracted logistics, and the supply side;
  • Working in close collaboration with all other internal departments of the company and suppliers.

Operational Part

  • Ensure follow-up of orders (cbo, stock order) with our internal and external suppliers to optimize purchase prices, approach costs and parts availability;
  • Analyze the needs to determine stock replenishment within the framework of stock optimization and stock turnover rate. Based on historical data and forecasts;
  • Ensure follow-up on the updating of order tracking tools;
  • Managing the organization and activity of spare parts stores for "good family management";
  • Organize and participate in year-end inventories, as well as random and planned inventories throughout the year;
  • Ensure that procedures are applied appropriately and, if necessary, define new procedures and monitor their implementation;
  • Perform a minimum monthly stock analysis by brand and stock age. And a stock turnover analysis by brand;
  • Ensure the monitoring of consignment stock management (replenishment, inventory,billing).

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a bachelor's degree (bac+5) in Financial management, accounting, and business studies or a similar discipline in a recognized educational institution;
  • Have at least 5 years of general experience in a logistics position;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain management role.

5. BASIC SKILLS

  • Supply planning and management(forecasts, orders, stocks);
  • Inventory and warehouse management(optimization of levels, reduction of stock outs and overstocks);
  • Expertise in purchasing and supplier relations(negotiation, contracts, supplier evaluation);
  • Logistics and transport(incoming/outgoing flows, deadlines, costs);
  • Planning and anticipation skills;
  • Managing priorities and respecting deadlines;
  • Coordination of the different links in the chain(purchasing, production, logistics, distribution);
  • Risk and contingency management(delays, shortages, incidents);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Responsiveness and stress management.

6. LANGUAGES

  • French(Spoken and written)are required;
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.

7. COMPUTER SCIENCE

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
