1. CONTEXT

SODEICO Sarl, a company specializing in the recruitment and placement of qualified personnel, is recruiting for one of its partners operating in the industrial equipment and heavy goods vehicle sales sector throughout the national territory, a "Parts and Services Manager ". his/her main mission will be to lead the Key Accounts Mining, CSR and PDR teams in order to achieve the sales targets set by the company.The candidate for this position must be a self-motivated, flexible and ambitious person, capable of achieving the predefined objectives related to their position.

The job holder will be under the supervision of After-sales manager.

3. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Parts and Services Manager has the following mandate:

Administration & Management

  • Participate in the development of the budget and reforecasts for their department in terms of sales and cost, based on the strategic vision of management;
  • Define annually the objectives of his N-1 and will challenge the definition of the objectives of his teams reporting to his N-1;
  • Define the KPIs to be implemented with the agreement of your N+1 to manage your sales teams in a SMART way;
  • Implement a dashboard/report of his activities which he will share weekly/monthly with the After-Sales Service Director (N+1);
  • Follow up on recruitment requests and actively participate in candidate interviews;
  • Define the training needs of your team, ensure that approved training plans are followed and maintain a monitoring dashboard;
  • Managing your team in terms of discipline, managing absences (paid leave, justified and unjustified absences, etc.);
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to the sales activities of spare parts and accessories, including maintenance contracts, component reconditioning center operations, and direct sales to customers;
  • Working in close collaboration with all other internal SMT departments and with suppliers.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Conduct a minimum weekly follow-up of the activities of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Customer Success Managers (CSRs). A weekly activity report will be provided to the supervisor and management;
  • For Key Account Managers (KAMs), they will provide a weekly activity report to track the support provided to their clients. This report will include the following: parts sales quotes, machine quotes, rebuild quotes, service contracts, client projects, and a monthly business review per client including the machine fleet, current sales and quotes (machines, parts, rebuilds, contracts), client projects, competitor activity information, invoice collection, client projects and activities, etc.
  • For the Customer Success Managers (CSRs), they will provide a detailed weekly report of each CSR's activity, including visits, offers, hot deals, and prospecting. Monthly, they will also provide a report of key performance indicators (KPIs): sales, quote-to-order conversion rate, visit objectives, prospect-to-customer conversion, etc.
  • For the PDRs, he/she will provide a detailed weekly sales/invoicing report for each PDR based on its budget, and the quote/order conversion rate;
  • Provide a bi-monthly WIP report (on the 15th and 25th) of each month;
  • Promote special offers through promotional campaigns to boost sales and optimize spare parts inventory;
  • Supporting teams in activity reporting (CRM type), updating the customer machine database;
  • Follow up with your teams on the collection of overdue invoices. Propose payment solutions if necessary;
  • Accompanying its teams on client visits in the territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo;
  • Establish and monitor KYC requests, as well as the validity of KYC approvals.

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a bachelor's degree (bac+5) in Financial management, accounting, and business studies or a similar discipline in a recognized educational institution;
  • Have at least 6 years of general management experience;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of specific experience as Parts and Services Manager.

5. BASIC SKILLS

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of spare parts (cars, machinery, heavy goods vehicles);
  • Ability to quickly identify references from catalogs (paper or computerized);
  • Basic understanding of the mechanical operation of vehicles or equipment;
  • Proficiency in computer tools for inventory management and invoicing;

Sales skills

  • Customer reception and advice at the counter (individual or professional clients);
  • Ability to offer alternatives (equivalent parts, range options);
  • Up-selling and customer loyalty techniques;
  • Simple price negotiation within the framework of internal procedures.

 Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral communication;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Patience, courtesy and handling of complaint situations;
  • Ability to work in a team (workshop, store, logistics).

Organizational skills

  • Customer order management and delivery tracking;
  • Stock availability check;
  • Rigor in maintaining documents (purchase orders, invoices, returns);
  • Compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.

Personal skills (soft skills)

  • Speed of execution and stress management;
  • Honesty and a sense of responsibility;
  • Capacity for continuous learning (new products, new references);
  • Autonomy and pro-activity.

6. LANGUAGES

  • French(Spoken and written)are required;
  • Knowledge of English(Spoken and written).

7. COMPUTER SCIENCE

  • Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
