1. CONTEXT

SODEICO Sarl, a company specializing in the recruitment and placement of qualified personnel, is recruiting for one of its partners operating in the industrial equipment and heavy goods vehicle sales sector throughout the national territory, a "GET and Undercarriage product specialist  ". his/her main mission will be The development of sales for GET and UC, primarily targeting mining clients and mining subcontractors, as well as ensuring competitive intelligence.

The candidate for this position must be a self-motivated, flexible and ambitious person, capable of achieving the predefined objectives related to their position.

2. ORGANIZATIONAL POSITION

The job holder will be under the supervision of Service Manager.

3. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The GET and Undercarriage product specialist has the following mandate:

• Analyze customer problems and dissatisfaction to define opportunities and be proactive in sales strategy for GET and UC to increase the company's market share in its territory;
• Define the action plan linked to the annual marketing plan for GET & UC;
• Report monthly on activities related to their role and responsibilities;
• Define the schedule and perform the inspections and wear measurements of the GET & UC;
• Monitor the activity of our competitors regarding trials, prices, successes and setbacks;
• Provide a monthly report;
• Report any improvements and new features from GET and UC manufacturers;
• Work in collaboration with the training department to develop training content related to GET and UC for CSRs and KAs;
• Supervise and monitor GET and UC conversion tests at our clients' sites;
• Responsible for commercial and technical documentation relating to GET and UC;
• Working in tandem with the Parts & Service department to develop sales of GET and UC.

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar discipline in a recognized educational institution;
• Have at least 5 years of general experience in selling GET and UC;
• Have a minimum of 3 years of specific experience as GET and Undercarriage product specialist.

5. BASIC SKILLS

Technical skills 

• Mastery of Ground Engaging Tools: teeth, blades, adapters, wear segments, guards;
• Knowledge of wear materials (steel, alloys, heat treatments);
• Ability to identify wear, diagnose failures and recommend replacements;
• Understanding of operating conditions (terrain, load, work cycles);
• Heavy-duty chassis;
• Solid knowledge of chassis components: suspensions (leafs, springs, shock absorbers), axles, bridges, frames, cross members, fastening and reinforcement systems;
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manufacturers' catalogs;
• Ability to offer technical solutions tailored to the fleet.

Operational skills & maintenance

• Analysis of recurring failures and causes of premature wear;
• Technical support for workshop and maintenance teams;
• Monitoring of technical interventions and recommendations for improvement;
• Contribution to optimizing the lifespan of parts and reducing costs.

Sales skills & customer support

• Technical advice to internal (maintenance, operation) or external clients;
• Ability to present the products, their advantages and limitations;
• Development of quantified technical recommendations;
• Support for sales teams for tenders and technical proposals.

Management & Reporting Skills

• Monitoring of GET and chassis parts consumption;
• Participation in stock management (critical references, thresholds);
• Writing technical reports (wear and tear, performance, incidents);
• Analysis of indicators: costs, replacement frequency, vehicle immobilization.

HSE & Compliance Skills

• Knowledge of safety standards related to interventions on heavy goods vehicles;
• Compliance with HSE procedures in the workshop and on site;
• Raising awareness of safety procedures when using GET equipment.

6. LANGUAGES

• French(Spoken and written)are required;
