1. CONTEXT

SODEICO Sarl, a company specializing in the recruitment and placement of qualified personnel, is recruiting for one of its partners operating in the industrial equipment and heavy goods vehicle sales sector throughout the national territory, a "Counter Sales Representative  ". his/her main mission will be to sell parts and accessories directly to internal and external customers.'assist customers, satisfy their needs, advise them and build their loyalty, while achieving monthly sales and gross margin targets.

The job holder will be under the supervision of Responsible for the parts counter.

3. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The representative over-the-counter sales has the following mandate:

  • Demonstrate an ability to understand customer needs and possess sales-related knowledge;
  • Assisting internal and external customers in identifying and meeting their parts needs via electronic catalogs, customer equipment files, and other reference materials to ensure delivery of the correct part;
  • Assist customers with the sale of parts and components via email, telephone, and at the counter;
  • Determine the correct parts needed by searching catalogs and databases;
  • Knowing all part references in order to advise on necessary complementary items, thus saving the customer unnecessary trips;
  • Determine the required replacement parts based on inspection of used parts or descriptions of malfunctions provided by the customer or technician;
  • Mastering current promotions and being able to process discounts and customer registrations;
  • To provide courteous, honest, consistent and prompt customer service;
  • Prepare price quotes, invoice and ensure that deliveries have been made;
  • Assist with the shipping and delivery of parts orders;
  • Assist with warehouse tasks as needed;
  • Track orders and inform customers of their status.

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a bachelor's degree (bac+5) in Financial management, accounting, and business studies or a similar discipline in a recognized educational institution;
  • Have at least 5 years of general experience in accounting;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of specific experience as a parts sales manager.

5. BASIC SKILLS

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of spare parts (cars, machinery, heavy goods vehicles);
  • Ability to quickly identify references from catalogs (paper or computerized);
  • Basic understanding of the mechanical operation of vehicles or equipment;
  • Proficiency in computer tools for inventory management and invoicing;

Sales skills

  • Customer reception and advice at the counter (individual or professional clients);
  • Ability to offer alternatives (equivalent parts, range options);
  • Up selling and customer loyalty techniques;
  • Simple price negotiation within the framework of internal procedures.

 Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral communication;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Patience, courtesy and handling of complaint situations;
  • Ability to work in a team (workshop, store, logistics).

Organizational skills

  • Customer order management and delivery tracking;
  • Stock availability check;
  • Rigor in maintaining documents (purchase orders, invoices, returns);
  • Compliance with internal procedures and safety standards.

Personal skills (soft skills)

  • Speed of execution and stress management;
  • Honesty and a sense of responsibility;
  • Capacity for continuous learning (new products, new references);
  • Autonomy and pro-activity.

6. LANGUAGES

  • French(Spoken and written)are required;
  • Knowledge of English(Spoken and written).

7. COMPUTER SCIENCE

  • Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
